UNIQUENESS & EXCELLENCES

The PPKn undergraduate curriculum is designed to be relevant to national needs and in line with the purposes of higher education as emphasized in the European framework (Bologna Process and ESG). This program contributes to four main objectives:

• Employability
The curriculum prepares graduates with professional competencies as teachers, lecturers, and citizenship researchers. Practical courses, teaching practice, and community service provide direct experience that strengthens work readiness.

• Personal Development
Learning emphasizes the development of critical thinking, reflective thinking, communication and leadership skills, thereby supporting the formation of a mature and integrity-based personality.

• Academic Orientation
Students are equipped with a foundation in civic science, philosophy, law, and politics, as well as research skills through thesis writing. This strengthens their academic orientation and opens up opportunities to continue their studies at the master's or doctoral level.

• Civic Engagement
As part of civic education, the curriculum develops the values of democracy, human rights, tolerance, sustainability, and socio-ecological responsibility. This is in line with the goals of European higher education, which emphasizes the role of graduates as active citizens in the global community. Thus, the PPKn undergraduate curriculum not only meets national standards but is also relevant to the direction of international higher education development, particularly in strengthening the connection between the world of work, individual development, academic orientation, and civic engagement.
