Yogyakarta –  Hima PKnH of The Department of Civic Education will hold a National Seminar entitled “Political Ethics as the Construction and Foundation of State Administration” on September 20, 2025. This event will feature political experts, academics, and government practitioners who will discuss in depth the importance of political ethics in realizing democratic, fair, and morally-based governance.

The seminar, with speakers Prof. Dr. Sunarso, M.Si. (Civics Education Lecturer), Dr. Zaenal Arifin Mochtar, S.H., LL.M., and moderated by Jen Salafian (Political Science Lecturer), is expected to be a forum for the exchange of ideas and critical discussion on how political ethics can become a fundamental basis for building clean, transparent, and accountable state administration. In addition, this forum is also intended to strengthen the understanding of the academic community and the wider community regarding the urgency of political integrity amid global challenges and national socio-political dynamics.

The organizing committee emphasized that this seminar is open to students, lecturers, researchers, and practitioners from various fields who are interested in the development of democracy and governance. With this major theme, it is hoped that the seminar will be able to make a real contribution to enriching scientific knowledge and inspire the emergence of ethical political practices in Indonesia.
