Thursday (7/8) The collaboration between the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Yogyakarta State University (UNY) and the PPKn Study Program at Surabaya State University (UNESA) is a form of academic collaboration aimed at strengthening the three pillars of higher education, particularly in the fields of education, research, and community service. This synergy is expected to drive the development of a curriculum responsive to contemporary national issues, enhance the capacity of faculty and students through joint academic forums, and implement community service activities rooted in Pancasila values that are contextually aligned with societal needs. This inter-institutional collaboration also serves as a strategic step in strengthening academic networks and fostering an innovative and transformative civic education ecosystem.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was attended by Dr. Rhoma Dwi Aria Yuliantri, M.Pd., as the dean of FISIP; Prof. Dr. Suyato, M.Pd., as the head of the PPKn department at FISIP UNY; and Prof. Dr. Marzuki, M.Ag., as the coordinator of the PPKn Master's program. The collaboration between the Civic Education Program at FISIP UNY and the Civic Education Program at UNESA not only represents the commitment of both institutions to advancing civic education in Indonesia but also serves as a foundation for the creation of sustainable and relevant educational innovations in response to the challenges of the times, both through academic activities and research collaboration.
