On Friday (August 22), the Department of Civic Education at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) established a strategic partnership with the UPI Cibiru Campus. This partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service relevant to the challenges of citizenship in today's digital and multicultural era.
Thursday (August 21) The Bachelor's Degree Program in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) at Yogyakarta State University conducted an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the year 2025 as part of efforts to maintain and enhance the quality of higher education delivery. The activity took place on [date of implementation] in the Faculty of Social Sciences meeting room, involving an internal audit team from the University's Quality Assurance Agency.
Careva Jhilly Kahanaya S, a student in the S-1 Program in Pancasila and Citizenship Education at UNY, has achieved a notable accomplishment by securing funding for the 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM). Along with Rahmat Joan Pratama, Bagus Hermawan (Indonesian Literature), Resti Aryani Widyaningsih (Psychology), and Isnaini Putri Ayu Sulistiyowati (Educational Technology), she is one of 22 teams from UNY to secure funding.
On Tuesday (19/8), a seminar was held at Walailak University in Thailand, with lecturers from the Department of Civic Education serving as guest lecturers at the event. This activity served as an important academic forum for strengthening international networks and expanding scientific knowledge in the fields of civic education and global citizenship studies. (Professor of PPKn FISHIPOL UNY), Dr. Budi Mulyono, M.Pd, and Dr. Yayuk Hidayah, M.Pd. carries the theme of Civics learning based on contextuality. This book is full of emphasis that Civics is not just a theory, but also a real actualization by citizens.
The S1 PPKn Study Program is officially accredited as "Unggul" starting from March 16 2025 to March 15 2030.

Thursday (17/4) Curriculum development is considered very important because the curriculum is the main foundation in the educational process which determines the direction, goals and content of learning. As time goes by, society's needs, technological advances and the dynamics of the world of work continue to change, so the curriculum must always be updated so that it remains relevant and able to prepare students to face future challenges.
Thursday (24/04) was the opening day for the Training of Trainers (ToT) Program for Strengthening National Values (PPNK) for Teachers, Lecturers and Widyaiswara in D.I. Province. Yogyakarta T.A. 2025 Lemhannas RI which was attended by PPKn UNY FISHIPOL lecturers (Dr. Yayuk Hidayah, M.Pd., M.H.) and (Muhammad Fikri Alvinca, S.Pd., M.Pd.). The activity, which will be held for 11 days, was opened by singing Indonesia Raya and the Archipelago Insight Hymn. The event then continued with the presentation of material regarding geopolitics delivered by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB.
Tuesday (7/8) marked the start of the 2022 Class Acceleration of Study event which aims to provide direction, motivation and academic strategies to students in completing their studies on time. This activity is designed as a form of systematic academic assistance, including information related to the preparation of theses, fulfillment of credits, as well as the use of academic services and guidance available on campus.
Monday (14/7) FISIP UNY community service activities were held in Kampung Emas Iroyudan as a village supported by FISIP UNY. The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Aman, M.Pd. filled with 2 presentations of material. The first presentation was given by Arif Roby Ismanto, S.H.I. with material on the urgency of technology, especially websites at the village level and their applications.
