The Civic Education Study Programme (PKn) at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) has established an academic partnership with PGRI Argopuro University (UNIPAR), which is realised through collaborative activities and public lectures on the theme of ‘The Importance of Further Study for the Younger Generation’. This activity is part of efforts to strengthen synergy between higher education institutions in supporting the implementation of the three pillars of higher education, particularly in improving the quality of education and developing the academic capacity of students.

The public lecture featured national academics, namely Prof. Dr. Suyato, M.Pd., Prof. Marzuki, M.Ag., and Dr. Iqbal Arpannudin, M.Pd., who gave in-depth explanations about the urgency of further studies for the younger generation amid the social dynamics and global challenges of the 21st century. The speakers emphasised that further education is a strategic investment in strengthening scientific competence, shaping intellectual character, and preparing the younger generation to contribute actively and responsibly to society, nation, and state.

Through this collaboration, the Civic Education Study Program at UNY and UNIPAR hopes to build sustainable collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service. This synergy is expected to not only expand academic networks but also foster students' awareness of the importance of self-development through further studies as the foundation for the emergence of a young generation that is superior, critical, and has a national character.
