On Friday (August 22), the Department of Civic Education at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) established a strategic partnership with the UPI Cibiru Campus. This partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service relevant to the challenges of citizenship in today's digital and multicultural era.

The event was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two institutions, attended by the Head of the Department of Citizenship Education, Prof. Dr. Suyato, M.Pd., the Coordinator of the Master's Program in Citizenship Education, Prof. Dr. Marzuki, M.Ag., and the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Citizenship Education, Prof. Sunarso, M.Si., as well as students from UNY and UPI Cibiru. Through this collaboration, both parties are committed to developing joint programs, such as the exchange of speakers, academic seminars, workshops on strengthening digital citizenship literacy, and collaborative research that supports the development of adaptive and innovative citizenship education.

This collaboration is expected not only to strengthen academic networks between universities but also to serve as a platform for generating new ideas in instilling values of democracy, tolerance, and social responsibility among the younger generation.
