Semarang, November 6, 2025 — A lecturer in Civic Education (PKn) at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) was a guest speaker at a workshop entitled “Tips for Successful Scientific Publication in Reputable Journals: From Planning to Acceptance” organized by the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program at Semarang State University (UNNES). This event was held as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of lecturers and students in writing and publishing scientific works in reputable national and international journals.

In his presentation, the speaker from UNY comprehensively explained the steps that researchers need to take to achieve quality publications, starting from planning research topics, developing theoretical frameworks, selecting the right journals, to strategies for dealing with the review and revision process. He also emphasized the importance of consistency, cross-institutional research collaboration, and publication ethics in maintaining academic credibility.

The workshop, held at the Faculty of Social Sciences, UNNES, was enthusiastically attended by lecturers, graduate students, and young researchers. Participants actively engaged in question-and-answer sessions, shared experiences, and discussed various challenges often encountered in the scientific publication process.
